Casa Magdalena is a boutique local experience located only 5 minutes from the beach by Uber. This is a property located in the neighborhood of Monteflores near Sagrado Corazon University. The pluses are that is located close to everything. 10 minutes from the airport and any San Juan attractions and you have a kitchen which makes it ideal for those with kids and looking for longer stays.
Cons: It is not a luxury property eventhough we have made very cozy. This property has been owned by the same family for more than 40 years. It is slowly making improvements but it is a far cry from the Ritz. We love this Art Deco house but keep in mind that if you want a new apartment where you can walk to the beach this is not it. Bathroom is shared and it is upstairs. It has steep stairs leading to second room.
Pros: This room has 2 floors with the lower floor having the kitchen and dining table and TV.

We have a pretty good fan in the living roomStudio 5 This micro unit in Casa Magdalena was an invention that proved to be small. If you are one of those people who does not mind that it is perfect for you as you have your own private terrace.Cons: It is tiny so you may have been expecting something bigger.Three-Bedroom Apartment This Beautiful 4 bedroom, 1 bath in Casa Magdalena is beautiful. Drenched with light and cross ventilation, this unit is ideal for anyone staying in San Juan who wants a home while on vacation or on a long term stay. AC's in every bedroom., except in the office.Expect only one room if you book for 2 people and 2 bedrooms if you book for 4.
